Privacy Policy

Introduction

Pacy ("we", "our", or "the app") is a savings tracker app for iOS developed by Yuhei Koike. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use Pacy.

In short: Your savings data stays on your device. The free version displays ads provided by Google AdMob, which may collect certain device information as described below. Upgrading to Pacy Pro removes all advertisements.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Pacy (the developer) does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Financial account information (bank accounts, credit cards)
• Your savings data, wishlist items, or any content you enter in the app

However, the third-party advertising service (Google AdMob) integrated in the free version may collect certain information as described in the "Advertising" section below.

How Pacy Works

On-Device Data Storage

All data you enter in Pacy — including wishlist items, savings goals, deposit records, and pool balances — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external server.

Network Communication

Pacy does not transmit your personal savings data over the network. However, the app uses network connections for the following purposes:

• Advertising (free version only) — Google AdMob loads banner ads over the network
• URL Metadata — When you paste a product URL, the app fetches the page title and image to auto-fill item details (using Apple's LinkPresentation framework)
• In-App Purchases — Subscription and purchase verification through Apple's StoreKit

None of these network requests transmit your savings data, wishlist items, or other personal content.

Data You Enter

The app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Wishlist item names, prices, target dates, categories, and photos
• Savings deposit amounts and allocation history
• Pool (unallocated funds) balance
• Priority rankings and archived items

This data is used solely to provide the app's functionality and is never shared with third parties.

Advertising

The free version of Pacy displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Pacy Pro subscribers do not see any ads.

Information Collected by Google AdMob

Google AdMob may collect certain information to serve and measure ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising Identifier / IDFA)
• IP address
• General device information (device model, OS version)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. For details on how Google handles this data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

In accordance with Apple's guidelines, Pacy requests your permission before allowing ad-related tracking through the App Tracking Transparency framework. You can choose to allow or deny this request. If you deny tracking, ads will still be shown but they will be less personalized. You can change this setting at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

SKAdNetwork

Pacy supports Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad attribution. This allows ad networks to measure campaign performance without revealing your personal information.

Notifications

Pacy may send local notifications (e.g., monthly savings reminders, goal achievement alerts) if you grant notification permission. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server.

Subscription and Payment Information

Pacy offers optional subscription plans (monthly, annual) and a lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

Pacy integrates the following services:

• Google AdMob — Banner advertisement delivery (free version only). See "Advertising" section above for details
• StoreKit 2 — In-app purchase and subscription management (handled by Apple)
• LinkPresentation — URL metadata fetching for product page auto-fill (Apple framework)
• SwiftData — Local on-device data storage (Apple framework)
• Swift Charts — On-device chart rendering (Apple framework)

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or user tracking services beyond Google AdMob as described above.

Data Security

Your data is protected by the security features built into iOS:

• App Sandbox — Pacy's data is isolated from other apps
• Device Encryption — Data is encrypted at rest when your device has a passcode
• Face ID / Touch ID — Device-level biometric protection secures access to your data

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Delete individual items, transactions, or archived items within the app
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored data from your device

Since no data is stored externally, there is no data to request deletion of from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Pacy is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under the age of 13. While the app itself does not collect personal information, the third-party advertising service (Google AdMob) in the free version may collect device information as described in the "Advertising" section. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your Privacy Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it:

• You have complete control over all your data at all times
• You can view, modify, or delete any data within the app
• No data access requests to us are necessary, as we hold none of your data
